Grapes from family-owned, sustainably farmed vineyards, including organic, dry-farmed, and old vine vineyards
Winemaking with a practical, low/minimal intervention approach, (e.g. native fermentations, minimal additions, vegan practices),
And Packaging that is easier on the environment, including the use of lightweight glass, taint free corks, and the absence of unnecessary decoration like capsules that can have a negative environmental impact.

Vintone is a journey that began in 2015, with Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard high up on Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley, belonging to and tended by the Yates family. In 2016, a Chenin Blanc from Mendocino joined the journey, from a hillside vineyard named for the owner’s father, Sterling Ranch.
Johnson Family Ranch
Located in the Ukiah Valley, the Johnson Family Ranch is Fish Friendly certified, and is tended by the fifth generation Johnson Family.
Yates Family Vineyard
High up on Mount Veeder, the Yates Family Vineyard's growing history dates back to the late 1800's.
Owned and tended by the fifth generation Johnson Family and home to prized old vine Carignane.
